With DSE DOME RadioEye® mini cameras you can set up a CCTV system in the space of a few minutes without technical assistance.
There is no need to make holes in the wall for meters of coaxial cable between cameras and monitor. The audio/video signal travels via radio, spelling savings on installation, ease of installation and enabling you to make changes to the system in the future, even in the case of a move or structural changes in the setting.
RadioEye® systems are comprised of one or more cameras (b/w or colour) and one or more receivers.
All you need to do is connect the camera to a mains power supply and the receiver to any kind of television (or monitor).

 Wireless dome cameras

RE-TB4D (black/white)
RE-TC4D (color)

The camera just needs to be connected to a 220V mains power supply using the 220VAC/12VDC adaptor included.
Inside the elegant dome housing there is a mini camera and transmitter, which are completely invisible from the outside.
The camera in question is model RE-TBC4 (B/W) or RE-TCC4 (color). Despite their compact size, these mini-cams do not use the cheaper C-MOS technology, but boast high quality CCD (Samsung 1/3" in b/w and Sharp 1/4" in color), guaranteeing sharp, clear images
with 380 lines resolution and a minimum luminosity of 1.0 Lux in B/W and 1 Lux in color.
One distinctive feature of DSE mini-cams is the auto-shutter, which is controlled from 1/50th to 1/100,000ths of a second, optimized for use with mini-lenses, so much so that it represents a genuine electronic auto-iris. For this reason, while it is impossible to use real auto-iris lenses (which are only suitable on larger cameras), DSE mini-cams perform beautifully both in full sunlight and in dim light.

The DOME housing
The refined dome housing is easy to install on the ceiling and from the outside of the glass dome it is impossible to see what is inside. The result is a modern look which blends into any kind of decor, even prestigious settings. The fact that it is impossible to see the direction of the camera inside the dome also means that it is impossible for anyone loitering to identify blind spots that the camera does not cover.
The dome housing not only protects the camera from dust but also prevents tampering. This makes dome mini-cams a valid solution anywhere that a camera is at risk of being tampered with to change the position, eg. in public places.
The housing has three sections: a base which is fixed to the wall, a transparent dome and an internal concealment sleeve. The external diameter is 132 mm, height 89 mm.
The camera power cable comes out of the base of the housing, which is raised to allow storage of any spare length of cable.

The transmitter
Dome RadioEye cameras comes with a built-in video transmitter. The transmitter has a line-of-sight range of 100 m and 4 transmission channels. This means that the receiver must be located within 100 meters of the camera (much closer in the event of obstacles – see notes on range) and that no more than 4 cameras can be installed on the same site.
Should you require a longer range you will need to use a  directional antenna. Please note that hard-wired cameras with external transmitters. can be also used in CCTV wireless systems.

Maximum range
The range of RadioEye® systems is guaranteed where there are no obstacles (line-of-sight range). The presence of walls or objects between receiver and transmitter means a considerable reduction of the signal, and the range that can therefore be relied on. (See  notes on range).
It is essential to use RadioEye® cameras within the limits of their range, respecting the installation instructions in order to obtain a level of image quality comparable to that of a hard-wired camera.

Lenses
Dome RadioEye® cameras are equipped with universal 3.6 mm wide-angle lenses like RE-036S. It is also possible to order the camera without a lens and then order any of the DSE mini lenses separately (see table of lenses).

Receiver for cameras with analogue transmitter

The RE-RX2A receiver receives the audio/video signal transmitted by the RadioEye® wireless camera using analogue transmitters and has a hard-wired audio/video output to carry the signal to a monitor, TV or video recorder.
A receiver can receive signals from one camera. Up to 4 cameras and 4 receivers can be installed in one system.
If more than one channel is enabled this receiver includes an auto switch function and displays each camera for 4 seconds.
There are 4 dip-switches on the front of the device to select the camera you wish to view. On the back of the device is an audio/video output (with RCA connectors) to connect to a TV set, monitor, video recorder or PC.
It is possible to use more than one receiver in order to create a number of surveillance points, or to obtain an individual video output for each camera, but this will not increase the maximum number of cameras which can be used, which remains 4.
For the outbound A/V connection a cable with RCA connectors is supplied as standard.
For connections to TV sets which only have a SCART plug, you will need to use a SCART/RCA adaptor like RE-SCART1
