The
RE-TCC2 is the classic hard-wired cameras for any general
surveillance application. These color standard
resolution cameras can be wired to any TV, monitor, video-recorder etc.
Alternatively they can be connected to a DSE radio transmitter (RE-TX2,
RE-TX4, RE-TX5) and be part of a RadioEye wireless CCTV system.
The camera
The camera comes with a built-in microphone to capture audio, and is
compatible with all DSE lenses. The
lens must be purchased separately, along with the 220V/12V power adaptor and
bracket if necessary.
These cameras feature the outstanding high resolution Sony SuperHADTM
CCD (read the tutorial)
unbeatable in terms of luminosity and definition, which DSE is the only
company in the sector to offer at a price competitive even compared to
low-end CCDs.
Latest generation DSP digital electronics guarantee outstanding
colour fidelity and a Signal/Noise
ratio over 48 dB, delivering crisp, clear images.
The highest
resolution in their category
Having a high resolution means receiving clearer, sharper images
and basically translates into a higher quality system.
Cameras RE-TCC2 offer a greater
resolution than most of the cameras in the same price range currently on the
market: 420 lines, while the average color camera on the
market offers 330/380 lines.
On the rear of the camera, as shown here, are the following connections:

Camera
controls
On the back of the camera there are 4 micro-switches to
optimize the image according to conditions, exploiting the full power of the
DSP microprocessor:
BLC
on/off
(back
light compensation). This should be activated when filming a subject in
front of a source of strong light, like a window, which would put the
subject into the shade. (see
tutorials)
Auto-iris or electronic shutter (EE-AI).
Automatic shutter control (EE), should be selected if you are using a lens
with fixed diaphragm. In this way the camera adapts electronically to the
conditions of luminosity. If you are using an auto-iris lens this should be
switched to AI.
AGC
on/off. The automatic gain control, which offers better performance in
low luminosity, can be switched on or off. (see
tutorials).
AWB
on/off. The automatic white balancing function can be switched on or off
(see
tutorials).
Lenses
These cameras are supplied without a lens in order to
fit the lens which is most suitable for the size and light of the site.
Choose the lens for your camera on the
lens page. All DSE lenses can be fitted onto this type of camera,
including AUTOIRIS and VARIFOCAL lenses, at no additional expense. These
lenses have a C/CS type mount.
Wiring and installation
These cameras can be directly connected to a TV, monitors or DVR
using a cable. You can use the 20 m cable RE-CT1 (video+audio+power), or for
longer distances coaxial cable such as CV-RG59 in rolls of
100 m.
The camera takes a 12 VDC power supply. To convert the 220V mains power
normally available into 12 V, a 500 mA 220VAC/12VDC adaptor such as
RE-AL4S.
We also supply brackets for wall-mounting and
protective housings. If you need to control more than one camera you can
connect them to a video recorder. Modern digital video recorders do not
require these control devices and the camera can be directly connected to
the video input terminals.
If the camera is connected to an external transmitter like
RE-TX2, it can be
integrated into a RadioEye® wireless system.
For those with less experience, or needing to refresh their knowledge, the
tutorials section
contains a number of lessons explaining how to wire and install a hard-wired
CCTV system correctly.
The
product includes:
Camera without lens
Adaptor ring with C/CS mount
Socket wrench for mounting lens
PLEASE NOTE:
Hard-wired cameras are supplied without lens,
power adaptor or bracket, which must be ordered separately. |
