This camera state of the art camera features the outstanding Sony Ex-View CCD, the only one of its kind which combines high resolution with powerful night vision.

What is meant by high resolution?
The image from a standard colour camera is usually composed of 380 vertical lines. The image delivered by the camera RE-TCC5 is composed of
520 vertical lines.
The high resolution of the CCD translates into images with much higher definition, greater detail and clear, sharp outlines.

Day/Night function and DSS
Camera RE-TCC5 is a color camera with Day & Night function. This means the camera will film colour video when there is good light (up to 0.1 Lux), and then switch to black/white when darkness falls. The CCD SONY EX-VIEW has been developed by SONY for superior performance in low-light conditions. In addition this camera comes with the Digital Slow Shutter feature which amplify the image light. The camera can view down to a minimum illumination of only 0.00045 Lux.
In B/W mode, camera RE-TCC5 is also compatible for use with all DSE infrared illuminators, in order to view in total darkness.

The Wide Dynamic Range camera
These cameras feature an outstanding high resolution 1/3" Sony ExView CCD Double Scan, which provides 520 TV lines resolution and WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE functionality. With the WDR function the camera provides optimal images even if bright and dark areas are present within the field of view. As you can see in the picture aside, a WDR camera provides a clear view even if the subject is much darker than the background. The camera boasts high end DSP digital electronics which guarantees an S/N ratio over 50 dB, a level of signal purity which is higher than most cameras on the market
.
The lens must be purchased separately, along with the 220V/12V power adaptor and bracket if necessary.
Cameras RE-TCC5 do not have microphones – if necessary you can use the external microphone  RE-CM2. and is compatible with all DSE lenses.
On the rear of the camera, as shown here on the left, are the following connections and controls:
Video OUT BNC connector for video output
DC 12V Jack for 12VDC power adaptor (positive central)
Auto Iris Connector for auto-iris lens (side)
LED Power LED
OSD Push-buttons for OSD menu

On Screen Display
On the back of the camera there are 5 pushbuttons that control the OSD menu. The OSD menu gives access to several settings:
AWB  Several options are available in order to render the white colour according to the kind of light in the environment.
Privacy zone.
This function is used to prevent critical areas to be filmed by the camera, normally for protecting people's privacy. Up to 8 masks can be set.
Day & Night threshold. You can set the light level that switch from colour daytime view to B&W night operation.
Mirror function.
Mirror function is used to rotate the image upside down vertically or horizontally. Cameras filming backwards or hanged on the ceiling, generally need this option to be set to ON.

The lenses
These cameras are supplied without a lens in order to fit the lens which is most suitable for the siz of the site. Choose the lens for your camera on the lens page. All DSE lenses can be fitted onto this type of camera, including AUTOIRIS and VARIFOCAL lenses. When calculating the angle of view of the lens, bear in mind that this camera has a
1/3 CCD.

Back focal adjusting ring
The case of the camera includes a patented system for easy back-focal adjustment. The distance between the lens and the CCD can be easily adjusted just rotating the wheel on the body of the camera. Any type of lens, from big zoom to fish-eye, can be perfectly focused in a matter of seconds and without any tool.

Wiring and installation
These cameras can be directly connected to a TV or monitor using a cable. You can use the ready-to-use 20 m cable RE-CT1 (video+audio+power), or for longer distances RG59 coaxial cable such as CV-RG59 in rolls of 100 m.
The camera takes a 12 VDC power supply. To convert 220V mains power into 12 V, a 500 mA 220VAC/12VDC adaptor such as
RE-AL4S is used. In case you prefer to power the cameras from a single power point you can use a cabinet power supply unit like RE-RE-AL10.
We also supply brackets for wall-mounting and protective housings. If you need to control more than one camera you can connect them to a switcher or quad splitter.
If you wish to use a video recorder, the modern digital video recorders do not require these control devices and the camera can be directly connected to the video input sockets.
If the camera is connected to an external transmitter like RE-TX2A, it can be integrated into a RadioEye wireless system.
For those with less experience, or needing to refresh their knowledge, the tutorial section contains a number of lessons explaining how to wire and install a hard-wired CCTV system correctly.

The product includes

Camera without lens
  Adaptor ring with C/CS mount

PLEASE NOTE: These hard-wired cameras are supplied without lens, power adaptor or bracket, which must be ordered separately
