Cameras RE-TCC6 are standard
resolution,
dependable cameras suitable for standard quality CCTV systems.
These cameras are based on SHARP CCD, which provides a considerable cost saving
compared with similar SONY chip still providing high quality video, suitable
for most CCTV systems.
The cameras can be
connected directly to a TV or monitor, or integrated into a RadioEye®
wireless system, using external transmitters (RE-DTX1).
The cameras
The cameras are compatible with all the
DSE lenses. The lens must be ordered separately, as well as
the 230V/12V power adaptor and mounting bracket, if required.
While choosing the lens please consider that the size of the CCD in this camera
is 1/4".
State of the art DSP digital electronics ensures outstanding color rendering
and a signal-noise ratio of
over 48 dB, guaranteeing clear, crisp images. 420 TV line resolution is optimal for most domestic and SOHO CCTV system
RE-TCC6 come with built-in microphones and RCA audio output.

Camera controls
On the back of the camera there are 3
micro-switches to optimize the image according to the
conditions:
Back light compensation (BLC
ON/OFF). This should be activated when filming a subject in front of a
source of strong light, like a window, which would put the subject into the
shade.
Auto-iris or electronic shutter (AI-EE).
Automatic shutter control should be activated if you are using a fixed lens. It must remain off if you use an auto-iris
lens.
Mirror Reverse the image for rear view.
AWB
on/off The automatic white balancing can be switched on
or off (see
tutorials).
The lenses
These cameras are supplied without a lens in order to enable you to
fit the lens most suited to the size and luminosity of the site. Choose the
lens for your camera on the lens page.
All DSE lenses can be fitted onto this type of camera, including AUTOIRIS,
VARIFOCAL and power ZOOM lenses. These lenses have
a C/CS type mount.
Wiring and installation
These cameras can be connected directly to a TV or a
monitor using a cable. You can use the 20 m
cable RE-CT1 (video+audio+power), or for longer distances RG59 coaxial
cable, like product CV-RG59 which is supplied in
100 m coils.
The cameras take a 12 VDC power supply. To convert 220V mains power into 12
VDC a 220VAC/12VDC adaptor such as
RE-AL4S is used. If you
need to control more than one camera you can use a device such as a
switcher, quad splitter
or multiplexer. Modern digital video recorders do not require these
control devices and cameras can be directly connected to their video input
terminals.
By connecting the camera to an external transmitter such as
RE-DTX1, you
can integrate it into a RadioEye® wireless system. For those with less
experience, or needing to refresh their knowledge, the
tutorials section
contains numerous lessons which explain how to wire and install a hard-wired
CCTV system correctly.
The product includes
Camera without lens
Adaptor ring for C/CS mount
Tool for back focal adjustement
PLEASE NOTE: Hard-wired cameras are supplied without a
lens, power adaptor, or bracket, which can be purchased separately. |
