These DOME mini-cameras are an ideal, stylish solution for indoor surveillance applications. Small size and high tech design make them perfect to blend into any decor.   

DOME housing
The attractive dome housing is easy to install on the ceiling or to the wall and from the outside of the glass dome it is impossible to see what is inside.  As it is not possible to see the direction of the camera inside the dome, it is also impossible for anyone loitering in the area to identify blind spots that the camera does not cover.
The housing has three sections: a base which is fixed to the wall, a transparent dome and an inner lining. The external diameter is only 85 mm, height 55 mm.
The dome is designed for ceiling mounting, and is especially suitable where there are ceiling panels. If you require a wall-mounted solution we offer mounting bracket RE-ST6 for purchase separately.

Camera
Inside the dome housing there is a DSE mini camera.
In spite of the small size these cameras are developed to provide the same quality level of bigger cameras. Cameras are available in several versions in order to meet any quality and budget requirements. The following table shows CCD brand, resolution and lux of every model.

Standard models RE-TCC4D and RE-TBC4D are suitable for general purposes. RE-TCC4DH with high resolution is ideal when maximum performance is required. RE-TCC4L, with Sony ExView CCD is recommended for low light applications.

Lens
The cameras come with a mini lens with 3.6 mm focal lenght (RE-036S), which gives a wide-angle view. The standard lens can be anyway replaced by any other S type M12 lens (see lens page) and this makes these cameras suitable to any environment from small rooms to faraway surveillance.
When choosing the best lens for your purpose using the lens tables, bear in mind that the camera RE-TCC4D comes with 1/4" CCD while all other models are based on 1/3 CCD.
Low cost models RE-TBC4D/RE-TCC4D can be also purchased without lens, in order to buy the favorite lens separately without having to pay for the standard one.

Audio
Even if all DSE dome cameras come with built-in microphone, the dome casing makes impossible using audio with these cameras.

Wiring and installation
These cameras can be connected directly to a TV or a monitor using a cable. Each camera come with 40 cm cable with RCA female connection for video and power. To extend this you can use 20 m cable RE-CT1, or for longer distances, RG59 coaxial cable.
The cameras take a 12 VDC power supply. To convert 220V mains power into 12 VDC a 220VAC/12VDC adaptor such as RE-AL4S is used, to be ordered separately. Alternatively you can power more units form a single cabinet RE-AL10.
If you need to control more than one camera you can use a managing device such as a switcher, quad splitter or multiplexer. Modern digital video recorders do not require these control devices and cameras can be directly connected to their video inputs.
These mini cameras are also available in wireless version with latest technology built-in digital transmitter.
