RadioEye® A/V transmitters can
be used to convert any wired camera into a wireless camera.
DSE also offers cameras with built-in transmitters, such as
RE-TC2/RE-TB2
an easy to mount, compact solution, but there are various reasons for using
a wired camera with an external transmitter, rather than a radio camera with
built-in transmitter.
First and foremost it means being able to choose the most suitable camera
from the vast DSE range, for instance a high resolution camera or a
waterproof housing. Moreover, using an external transmitter also means you can place the transmitter at a
distance from the camera, which can prove useful for getting round obstacles
which might hinder transmission.
All the transmitters on this page are compatible with
RadioEye®
receivers.
Audio/Video transmitters for
hard-wired cameras

This 4 channel transmitter transmits audio and video signals over 100
metres open-air. Connected to a traditional wired camera, it creates a
wireless camera which can be used as part of a RadioEye® system.
The transmitter has 2 RCA Audio/Video inputs and a channel selector
(1/2/3/4). It connects to the camera with the cable supplied.
The transmitter is usually positioned near the camera, but it can also be
placed at a distance from the camera, for example using the 20 m. cable
RE-CT1, if this means avoiding obstacles and improving signal reception.

The RE-TX2A transmitter is supplied with antenna, power pack and cable to
connect to the camera.

OEM transmission modules to integrate
with other devices
DSE Audio/Video transmitters are ideal
for manufacturers or suppliers who wish to incorporate wireless technology
into their products. It is possible to purchase the transmission modules
that DSE uses in its cameras and RadioEye® transmitters.
The modules are supplied complete with omni-directional antennas and channel
selectors.
The transmitter has 4 wires: 2 for the power supply (12VDC), one for video
input and one for audio input.
All modules are compatible with
RadioEye®
receivers.
