IP cameras generate a digital video streaming that is supposed to be watched on computer monitors. Unlike analogue, classic CCTV systems, IP cameras do not support traditional Digital Video Recorders (DVR) or TV monitors. The SCB-IP PRO platform is a Windows-based software able to monitor, record and control IP cameras.

You do not need to buy the SCB-IP PRO software in order to record DSE IP cameras.
All DSE IP cameras come with a free professional software package for Windows XP/Vista/7 which is available in 2 versions suitable for the H264 megapixel range and the MPEG4 VGA range.
The free software included with the camera is ideal for most applications: it is able to monitor, record and control up to 16 DSE cameras.
The SCB-IP PRO must be considered for complex IP systems where you need to control up to 64 cameras. Unlike the free software, the SCB-IP PRO does not work only with DSE cameras, but accept most IP cameras on the market (over 1000 models). It includes sophisticated video analysis features in order to meet the requirement of large systems and demanding users like airport, shopping mall etc.

Powerful real-time monitoring
First of all SCB-IP PRO is a powerful monitor for IP CCTV systems. A single software installed on a Windows PC displays up to 64 cameras. Cameras can be easily searched over the network and configured in a few clicks.
You can set the multi-vision option you prefer. From a single camera full screen up to 64 cameras all together on your desktop.
SCB-IP PRO supports 2 ways audio so you can hear any camera and talk to the people in front of it (camera must support this feature).
SCB-IP PRO supports multi-monitor PC and includes a graphics map editor to create your own interactive maps showing the supervised site or other graphics.

Multi trace recording of video+audio
SCB-IP PRO records every single streaming from the IP cameras in an individual file. It supports MJPEG, MPEG4 and H264 video compression according to the camera. Recording can be continuous or scheduled on the base of a fully programmable calendar specific for each camera. If the camera supports audio, this is recorded as well.
Playing recorded files is very easy. The software includes a time-line panel where you can easily select the camera and the time of your interest. Dragging your mouse you can quickly search through the video and find the images which are more important for you.
Strong video compression allows this software to store long time recording on normal HDDs. Once the Hard Disk space is exhausted the software can be set to overwrite oldest files.
Recording and log can be limited in number of days in order to suit your local regulation on people privacy.

Motion detection and advanced video analysis
SCB-IP PRO includes motion detection that can be set on each camera. In case of an intruder violate the field of view of the camera and alarm action can be set and recording can be activated. The following advanced video analysis features are also available:
MISSING OBJECT - Start an alarm if an object is removed from the view of the camera.
FOREIGN OBJECT - Start an alarm if a suspect object is left in the view of the camera.
COUNTER - Count how many people/objects move from one area to another.
CAMERA MASKING - Start an alarm if the camera is masked by an object.
VIDEO LOST - Start an alarm if the camera wires have been cut.
OUT OF FOCUS - Start an alarm if the camera lens is out of focus.

Alarm actions
In case of alarm (motion detection or camera input) the SCB-IP PRO starts recording and stores the event in a clear, easy to browse, event log. A sound in the PC can also be activated.
The program also includes the following advanced alarm actions:
E-MAIL - Send pictures to predefined email addresses.
PHONE CALL - Send a phone call via modem to predefined numbers.
SMS - Send SMS via GSM modem to predefined numbers.
FTP - Send pictures via FTP to update a web page.
PRESET CALLING - Move a speed dome camera to a predefined position.
OUTPUT - Activate the alarm output of the camera.
POP-UP MAP - Pop-up the graphic map of the site where the event has been triggered.

Speed-dome control
Using the SCB-IP PRO software you can move IP Pan Tilt camera like RD-N2260 and speed dome cameras connected to IP video servers like MVS-14.
You can control Pan Tilt Zoom as well as setting presets and tours.
The program also supports game joysticks to control Pan Tilt cameras more easily.

Remote acces
The SCB-IP PRO accepts remote access via LAN or Internet.
The following access methods can be used:
LIVE VIEWER SOFTWARE - This program is included in the CD and can be installed on any PC without protection code . You can watch real-time and payback recorded videos.
INTERNET BROWSER - This method is ideal for users that cannot or do not want install the viewer program.
MOBILE PHONE - SCB-IP PRO supports mobile connection via 3G mobile phones, PDA and iPhones.
REMOTE DESKTOP - Using the Remote Desktop program included in the CD you can operate on the program as you were in front of the keyboard.

Scalability
The SCB-IP PRO is designed to be perfectly sized according to the scenario and can be easily expanded in order to follow any future need.
You can purchase one or more USER LICENSE, each of them give you access to 4 cameras. Each piece of software can manage up to 64 cameras (16 licenses).
A new license is automatically recognized and do not require any modification to the previous setting.
