NETWORK CAMERAS
RJ45 plugs replace the classic BNC connectors for coaxial cable typical of analogue CCTV systems

WIRELESS/HARDWIRE
Compact cameras RA-N1250 and Pan/Tilt cameras RD-N2260 supports Wi-Fi and can be connected to the LAN with no wires
BETTER IMAGE QUALITY
IN ITS CLASS
DSE network cameras are based on
OMNIVISION CMOS sensors. Omnivision manufactures the best CMOS on the market, providing superior image quality and low light performance.

POWER OVER ETHERNET
RB and RC camera models supports PoE, so Video, Audio and Power can be conducted from the switch to the camera using a single CAT5 cable.

2-WAY AUDIO
All DSE IP cameras supports 2-way audio so you can hear the people in front of the camaera and talk to them at the same time.

MSN MESSENGER CONTROL
INTERNATIONAL PATENT
Easy Internet access to cameras with no need of fixed IP address and router port forwarding

iPHONE/PDA CONTROL
Your IP cameras ready to be monitored on your advanced mobile device

2.5/3G MOBILE PHONE CONTROL
Your IP cameras follow you everywhere on your mobile phone

DSE IP cameras are fully digital CCTV devices which can be connected to any hard-wired or Wi-Fi PC network (LAN).
Among other ranges of the same class on the market, the DSE cameras provide higher image quality and wide range of features.
CCTV on IP network
With IP cameras you can create a CCTV system without using any analogue TV device.
No coaxial cables, video-recorder or TV monitors are required.
IP cameras connect straight to a LAN IP network that can be specifically designed for the CCTV system or even already existing and used for PC's communication.
Any PC of the network can monitor the cameras therefore, unlike analogue systems, there is no need of TV monitors.
Videos are generally recorded using special IP surveillance software.
Hard-wired and Wire-less
If your network includes Wi-Fi access points, several IP cameras in the range include
Wi-Fi transmitter and can be connected to the network
without wires. All you need for your cameras is a power plug.
Wi-Fi antenna (802.11b/g) is available on compact cameras (RA-N1250) and pan/tilt cameras (RD-N2260).
All these cameras support cable connection as well (RJ45 plug).
CMOS and CCD sensors
Most DSE IP cameras are based on CMOS PROGRESSIVE SCAN sensors.
The great advantage of this technology in IP cameras is that the video sensor provides a direct digital signal and no analogue-to-digital conversion is required.
Just a single model in the range, the classic type RC-N6130, is based on analogue SONY SUPERHAD CCD sensor.
If on one side, CCD require the analogue signal to be digitalized inside the camera, on the other hand CCD can have slightly better performance than CMOS
under low light condition. Besides CCD can work with any classic CCTV lens, while CMOS require special lenses with built-in IR filter.
For this reason the RC-N6130
camera comes with a CS lens socket suitable for mounting any DSE lens.
Best image quality in its class
DSE chose OMNIVISION CMOS sensors
WWW.OVT.COM for its IP cameras.
Omnivision is absolute leader in high performance CMOS devices. Their CMOS provide similar color rendering of CCD even on low-light.
Thanks to these state-of-the-art components and highest quality standards, DSE IP cameras provide better image quality in its class.
The difference is clearly evident at first sight.
Dual streaming
All DSE cameras supports DUAL STREAMING, which means they can transmit M-JPEG and MPEG4 video signals to different clients at the same time.
Static compression M-JPEG gives high quality images, but requires high bandwidth and therefore is very rarely used nowadays over the Internet.
Dynamic compression MPEG4 takes much less bandwidth, still keeping a reasonably high image standard. For this reason is widely adopted, especially on Internet
connection where band is most of the time less then expected.
Each client which connect to the cameras (e.g. Internet Explorer) can select its own transmission options.
IP cameras supports both unicast and multicast streaming.
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
All DSE IP cameras (except those incl. Wi-Fi) support PoE standards.
If your network switch supports PoE technology, the cameras can be powered through the LAN cable itself without the need of individual power adaptors.
2-ways audio
All models include audio input/output so it is possible to hear the voices on site and talk with people in front of the cameras.
Most cameras has a built-in microphone.
Easy access via PC/MAC Internet browser
To view your cameras over the network or the Internet you do not need anything else than a computer and an Internet browser.
Cameras support most common Windows browsers like INTERNET EXPLORER and MAC browser
SAFARI.
Internet access via MSN MESSENGER
(PATENTED)
Unique on the market, DSE IP cameras support the remote connection via MSN MESSENGER, the popular chat program.
Using MSN you can monitor your cameras from anywhere over the Internet without the needs of a fixed IP address. Even if your cameras are behind router or firewall,
you do not need any port forwarding or other special settings of your network.
AlAll you need to do is to log-in to MSN with your usual nickname, the cameras are notified you are on-line and automatically start a chat with you.
You can then start watching with a simple click of your mouse.
iPhone, PDA and mobile phone control
DSE IP cameras can be monitored by mobile devices, like i-Phone or PDA.
Even 2.5/3G mobile phones can be used to watch the cameras on the telephone screen.span>
Remote view using RTSP players
DSE IP cameras support RTSP protocol and can be watched using any RTSP player, like
REAL PLAYER, QUICKTIME, VST etc.
Access controls and HTTPS support
Access to the cameras is protected by a password control. Each camera allows to store up to 10 different users.
For added security, the cameras support HTTPS encrypted protocol, the same that is used to protect banking transactions.
PPPoE - Straight connection to ADSL modem
Integrating the PPPoE protocol the IP cameras can be connected straight to an ADSL modem and log-in to the Internet without the need of
other equipment like PC or routers. This is useful if you wish to create stand-alone
surveillance spots that just need an ADSL cable to connect to the world
(e.g. CCTV in public sites)
DDNS and IP notification
You wish to watch your cameras over the Internet, but you have no fixed IP address? No problem.
DSE IP cameras support the most common DDNS services like DYNDNS.COM and can even send an email to you anytime that the IP configuration is modified.
Motion detection
and E-mail/FTP notification
IP cameras includes motion detection analysis and can start an alarm in case an intruder
brake-in.
In case of alarm, the cameras can switch a local alarm output and send pictures via e-mail or FTP protocol.
Web
cam over FTP protocol
FTP transmission can be also scheduled on a regular basis for example in order to update a web-site content.
Privacy mask
Sensible areas within the field of view of the camera can be masked in order to protect people privacy.
This is useful for example when CCTV systems operate in public places, offices or production plants.
100% firmware stability
The main feature of an IP camera is the absolute stability along the years.
DSE IP cameras will never leave you down and will be always ready to respond even if monitored on
occasional basis.
Free configuration tool
The Intelligent IP Installer software provided free of charge with every camera, can search all cameras within the network in a matter of seconds.
With a few clcik of your mouse you can set the network options of the camera and make it visible to other equipment.
IP surveillance software
Unlike analogue systems that need all cameras to be connected to video-recorders, in IP CCTV the video-recording is usually operated over the network by IP surveillance software.
DSE range include 2 powerful products for IP video recording:
SCB-IP - 16 channels surveillance software suitable for DSE IP cameras only
SCB-IP PRO - 64 channels surveillance software suitable for most IP cameras on the market today.

DSE IP cameras are also compatible with most multiprotocol IP surveillance software on the market.
