DSE waterproof cameras with built-in infrared
illuminator can be the best choice for most CCTV systems.
Camera and infrared illuminator are built-in an extra solid, waterproof,
aluminum casing, which protect effectively against water, humidity, powders
and shocks.
Compact in size, perfectly waterproof and easy to install, these cameras
with built-in infrared illuminators now represent an increasingly popular
solution, thanks to the unbeatable price/performance ratio, compared to
traditional cameras in housings.
The waterproof casing
All cameras in these range has a waterproof casing available in bullet and
round shape.
The waterproof casing is the main advantage of these cameras and make them
suitable to be installed in any environments without the need of big
protection housings.

Small size
Besides being waterproof, these cameras are also very small compared with
classic cameras with protection casing.
Camera, lens, IR illuminator and waterproof cover are packed in a small
size, all-in-one product. Elegant shape and satin aluminum finishing gives
these products an attractive design, making them ideal even for indoor
mounting.

DSE produce IR waterproof cameras in 2 versions:

The camera
All DSE waterproof cameras feature color Sony SuperHADTM
CCD (read
the tutorial) for unbeatable image quality. The high quality DSP circuit
gives an excellent signal/noise
ratio over 48 dB.
All RE-BCC cameras provide 420 TV lines resolution. The high resolution types RE-BCC5H and RE-BCC5M, designed for High standard CCTv systems reach
520 TV lines.
All cameras include last generation electronic
shutter
(shutter speed up to 1/100.000 sec.), for optimal
image quality in both dark and full light conditions, without the needs of
expensive autoiris lenses.

The lens
All cameras are supplied with an appropriate lens which is
coherent with the IR illumination range and suitable for most common
applications. A few models come with varifocal adjustable lens.

The standard lens supplied with the camera is generally the best for most application. Anyway tt is also possible to order the fixed lens cameras without any lens (Ref. RE-BCC...X)
and purchase the lens separately, choosing among the wide DSE lens range.
Cameras will be delivered equipped with the lens of your choice.
All these DSE waterproof cameras are compatible with all
DSE mini-lenses. The vari-focal models RE-DCC5 and RE-BCC5L/H/M cannot be supplied with any
other lens but the standard one.
While choosing a lens, please refer to the
angle of view tables. Do not forget that
RE-BCC6L cameras use 1/4" CCD, while all other cameras use 1/3" CCD.

Unlike all other models that come with a fixed lens with
pre-defined angle of view, RE-DCC5 and RE-BCC5L/H/M cameras came with varifocal
lens (RE-DCC5 3.5 to 8 mm and  RE-BCC5L/H/M 4 to 9 mm.)
Angle of view and focus
can be set manually turning 2 screws conveniently placed outside the camera.
The inside mechanism, made of metal gears, is very solid and dependable.
The infrared illuminator
The camera casing includes an LED infrared illuminator with different
illumination range according to the camera version:

RE-BCC6L - 10 m. IR range - 12 LED 850 nm
RE-BCC2L - 20 m. IR range - 24 LED 850 nm
RE-BCC5L/H/M - 30 m. IR range - 36 LED 850 nm

Featuring Day&Night function, all these cameras gives color picture during
the day and turn to B&W at night. The IR LEDs turn on automatically as soon
as the light drop below 0.3 Lux and give optimal view in total darkness.
DSE IR cameras, provide total video security, 24 hours a day. IR light is
not visible to human eyes.

Double Glass
All DSE IR cameras includes double-glass technology. The front glass
consists of 2 different glasses with a splitting ring.
The reason of this solution, much more expansive than traditional
rings, is too avoid any possible refraction of the LED's when
operating in night mode. |

RE-BCC5M - High resolution IR camera with OSD
RE-BCC5M
is the high-end model in the DSE IR camera range.
 Specifically
designed to provide best performance in any condition, this camera includes a chip for controlling advanced video features.
In the back side of the camera a waterproof cover protects 5 pushbutton
which controls a very convenient On
Screen Display (OSD). Following main features are available to be set:
Video adjustment - Lens type, autoiris, electronic shutter, AWB, AGC,
advanced BLC, brightness, contrast etc. can be adjusted according to the environment.
Privacy masks - Up to 4 masking areas can be set in order to exclude
from surveillance specific areas and protect people's privacy.
Motion detection - An indication appears on the screen in case of
motion detected.
Mirror - Image can be
reversed in case of backward views.
Camera name - Camera name can be set.

Mounting bracket
All DSE IR cameras come with a
built-in wall mounting bracket, for fixing the camera on wall or
ceiling.
Cable
management
All cameras are supplied with a latest technology bracket designed
to hide the connection wiring inside the bracket.
Unlike traditional brackets, that leaves the wiring visible
outside, these brackets with cable management protect the cables
from wearing out and against tampering attempts. When mounting
the camera indoor, the esthetic of the whole CCTV system is also
improved. All bracket come with a 360° swivel that allows fixing
on both wall or ceiling.
RE-DCC2/5 Tamper proof
RE-DCC2 and RE-DCC5 dome IR camera include a special
blocking systems that inhibit rotating the camera from outside.
The camera can be rotated 360° inside the bracket and can be
fixed on wall or ceiling.

Audio
Due to the IP67 protection rating, DSE waterproof cameras
come without microphone for audio. Should you need audio function, you can
install and external microphone like RE-CM2
.
Wiring
Like all other hard wired cameras in the DSE range, these cameras can be
connected by wires to any monitor, TV or video-recorder.
A 50 cm. cable with DC Plug and BNC female video connector, comes out from
the back side of the camera.
An appropriate 220VAC/12VDC power adaptor, like RE-AL4S, can be connected to
the DC plug to power up the camera. For safety reason, min 500mA, fully
regulated, power adaptor is required.
Should the adaptor be placed far from the camera, an adequate section of the
power cables must be used due to the considerable power consumption of the
IR LED's board.
Video signal must be hard-wired to TV/Monitor/VCR using RG59 coaxial cable
(see cables). Coaxial cable must be terminated with RE-BNCCR1, crimp type,
connectors.
All these cameras can be converted into wireless cameras using an
external transmitter . In this
way video signal will be transmitted, without the need of wires, directly to
the receiver, closed to your TV/Monitor/VCR.
