DSE produce a wide range of mini cameras with built-in DVR hidden in common use objects (see hidden cameras with DVR) Although professionally designed and absolutely invisible, these cameras might look like an unusual object and this creates problems in several circumstances. On the contrary, these ready-to-hide cameras can be hidden inside any familiar object, resulting totally unsuspectable. In addition, thanks to their tiny size, these cameras can be easily integrated in other equipment which requires video recording (e.g. aircraft models, inspection tools, sport equipment etc.)

DK-CS1 is first of all a masterpiece of miniature electronic. A tiny printed circuit board of only 47x50 mm. includes a high quality C-MOS color camera with audio, digital video recorder and  USB port to upload video clips towords PC.
The DK-BL2 battery included with the product provides 12 hours time recording and can be easily plugged to the camera. A smaller size battery, providing about 2 hours life-time (Ref. DK-BL1) as well as a long-life battery providing 24 hours recording (Ref. DK-BL3) are available to be purchased separately.
The complete set camera+battery is 50 gr. weight with the standard 12 hours battery and 20 gr. only with the DK-BL1 small size battery.
The camera DK-CS1 can be easily hidden in small objects like: cigarette packs, small boxes, sponges, power sockets and generally into any objects which is empty inside. Once you have found a suitable object, just make a tiny hole (1 mm. only) and insert the camera in such a way that the pin-hole lens correspond to the hole in the object.

DK-CS1 comes as a printed circuit board in order to keep its size as small as possible. The board is treated with a special thixotropic, semi-transparent resin which prevent all components and the circuit to be damaged by shocks or contact with metal objects. The resin covers the whole product with a robust, transparent coat and allows you to handle the camera without the risk of damages.

The only control physically placed on the product is the ON/OFF switch. Sliding the switch to the ON position do not actually turn on the camera but just make it ready to receive commands from the IR control (see picture on the left).
Through the remote control the following commands can be operated:
1 - Turning ON/OFF the camera
2 - Photo shot
3 - Start/Stop audio recording
4 - Start/Stop video/audio recording
5 - Start/Stop video/audio recording with MOTION DETECTION
In the MOTION DETECTION mode the camera only records video in case of moving objects within the field of view or in case of artificial light turned on. This prevent to waste memory space by recording only significant events.

The camera comes with a cylindrical lithium battery which provides 12 hours life-time. A small size battery providing 2 hours life-time (Ref. DK-BL1) is available for applications requiring minimum size and weight. For longer recording capacity a large size battery is also available (Ref. DK-BL3)
Once exhausted, the battery is recharged via the USB port or by means of the power adaptor (220V/USB) included. If you need to recharge the batteries without the camera board, 2 stand-alone battery chargers are available: for DK-BL1/DK-BL3 square batteries (Ref- DK-BCL1) and for DK-BL2 cylindrical batteries (Ref- DK-BCL2).
By using 2 batteries, one stand-alone charger and several Micro SD cards you can record continuously for long period of time without the need of upload to PC.

The camera stores all video clips as well as audio and image files onto the on-board Micro SD card.
The package do not include any Micro SD card that you should purchase separately. Any brand of SD card up to 32 GB can be used.
To have an idea of the storing capacity, please consider that around 12 hours audio/video recording can be stored on a 16 GB memory card.
In case the battery is exhausted, the DK-CS1 is able to save the last clip before turning off. DK-CS1 is also able to continue recording once the memory is full by overwriting the old video files. Once recording is completed, the camera can be connected to a personal computer running any Operating System. All files in the memory can be downloaded to the PC and played using the most common programs like Windows Mediaplayer.
DK-CS1 comes with a high resolution C-MOS at 1.3 megapixel  and provides 1280x960 pixel video resolution @ 30 frames/second. The maximum video quality for hidden cameras available today.
Date and time are automatically overprinted on the video.
