designed for small-medium CCTV systems.
Advanced features and many connectivity options make this DVR's ideal for
domestic, commercial and SOHO applications.
Why choosing the DR range ?
POWER
AT THE RIGHT PRICE
DR range is the ideal choice for small systems up to 16 cameras. Advanced
features are included in a very straightforward and cost effective hardware.
EASY

You can install your new DR in a matter of minutes, connecting up to 16
cameras without the need of Multiplexer or Quad.
PLAY, STOP, REC ... the commands are simple and the mouse control makes this
DVR very easy and convenient to use.
HIGH
CONNECTIVITY
DR video recorders connect to so many kind of equipment that will
become very quickly a part of your everyday life. USB pen drive and DVD
burners can be plugged into the USB port for convenient video backup. Live
view is possible via computer, mobile phones, iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and
PDA.
Description
H.264 compression format
DR-N video recorders are based on H.264 compression format, which is today the most efficient algorithm available for surveillance recording.
Compared with traditional MJPEG and MPEG4 technologies, with the H.264 compression the video files are smaller and the storing capacity of the DVR is much larger.
Besides, the video streaming over local network or Internet needs less
bandwidth, providing better image quality and frame rate when accessing the DVR from a remote site.
Hard disk recording
In order to provide the maximum flexibility, DR-N video recorders are
supplied without hard disk.
One
SATA
Hard Drive of any brand and capacity can be installed, in order to
tailor recording capacity to your real needs.
Compression can also be adjusted to match your storage requirements. As a
reference 1TB HDD contains D1
videos from 16 cameras for about 7 days at maximum quality and about 160
days at maximum compression.
DR-N16 accept up to 2 Hard Drives, one inside the unit and the other one in
an HDD tray on the front panel.
High
resolution
DR-N video recorders capture high resolution, D1 videos (704x576
pixels), ensuring clear full screen images.
The high frame rate of the DVR is digitally controlled to ensure real time
video.

When using the mouse control option, the mouse arrow appears on the screen and the DVR can be fully programmed and controlled without any other
command, as it was a PC-based unit
Advanced networking features
DR videorecorders can be connected to a LAN or to the Internet via the Ethernet port.
Real-time video streaming, archive search, speed dome camera controls, outputs activation as well as full DVR setting can be
performed from a remote PC just using your Internet Explorer browser.
In addition, a free Central Monitoring Station (CMS) software is included.
Access via Mobile phones, PDA, iPhone
It is also possible to access the DVR from the Internet
using the most common mobile equipment. Fully compatible with 3G/3.5G
mobile phone, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, PDA with Windows Mobile,
Symbian, Android O.S. Watching your cameras from anywhere in the world is as easy as making a phone call.
Just digit your IP address, log-in with your password and enjoy clear full screen video and even quad view.
Free applications for iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and PDA are included with
the DVR and enable real-time live video streaming (no single frames) and
even PTZ speed dome remote control.
Easy back-up by USB port
Unlike most low-cost DVR's, DR videorecorders come with an USB port and built-in drivers for plug and play control of
USB Hard Disks, Pen Drives and DVD burners.
The movie files (.H264) can be saved on external devices just pressing a
button. A free player is provided for playing the videos and exporting to
AVI format.
Hexaplex operation
For maximum security the DVR never stops recording. Surveillance is still operating even in case of managing Display options, Recording, Playing archived videos, Networking, Video back-up and DVR setting.
Advanced Speed-dome control
These DVR come with an RS485 port that can be used to control Speed Dome
cameras. You can take control of your speed dome from the front keypad, the
remote control and even from a remote PC or mobile
device. The advanced user interface gives access to all camera features
including preset, cruise, tour and configuration menu. No need of buying a
special keyboard for speed dome control.

RECORDING
– CONTINUOUS, SCHEDULED OR ALARM-TRIGGERED –
You
can record at set time/dates or only when triggered by an alarm event generated
by external sensors or the motion detection system. Once the whole capacity of the Hard Disk is used, the DVR can automatically overwrite the oldest files recorded.
MOTION
DETECTION –
The motion
analysis function automatically starts recording when the image changes because an intrusion occurs.
E-MAILING –
Each technical/alarm event can generate e-mails to programmable addresses.
CONTROL
OF PTZ SPEED DOME CAMERAS
– Connection via RS485 using PELCO-D protocol. PTZ can be controlled by the user via the front keyboard, the mouse or the remote software. Camera preset can be called
in case of any event.
PASSWORD
PROTECTED
– Max 8 user name/password with programmable access levels.
DHCP, DDNS. PPPoE –
