These cameras are long stand-by investigative cameras. Although being battery-powered, these cameras are able to work for over 1 years in stand-by and wake up in the event of an intrusion. They can record videos and send notifications to your mobile phone. These cameras work only if connected to your WiFi and allow you live monitoring and playback with your smartphone.
In this model, the camera is hidden in a fake smoke detector, that you can install on the ceiling with screws of by means of the double sided adhesive included. In a few seconds you will install a perfect, fully wireless, spycam, absolutely invisible and unsuspected in any environment.
These hidden cameras for investigation provide 2 MP @ 25 f/s video resolution. 2MP resolution, also called 1080P or Full HD (1920x1080 pixels), is the current standard of high resolution digital TV and provide high quality video and rich detail. In order to guarantee maximum performance, we use the same high-level CMOS and processors of our IP cameras for traditional CCTV surveillance in these hidden cameras. These mini cameras are equipped with a hidden lens with approximately 90° angle of view. Thanks to the dark glass on the front, the lens is absolutely invisible and there is no shooting hole, like in most other hidden cameras. The absolutely invisible lens makes these cameras truly unsuspected, even if observed by the trained eye. The lens direction can be adjusted from 0 to 15° in order to focus the target in any position.
These hidden mini cameras are equipped with built-in microphone to transmit and record audio along with video. The microphone has excellent sensitivity covering an average room. The cameras also have a built-in loudspeaker thanks to which you can communicate from your mobile phone with people near the camera.
These ceiling mount hidden cameras are equipped with 2 invisible infrared LEDs for night vision in absolute darkness. Thanks to the IR LEDs, the camera is able to shoot perfectly in the dark, up to a distance of 6 meters . This is a feature that you very rarely find in investigative cameras of this kind. You can activate the black and white IR vision at will via a button in the app, or you can set the LEDs to turn on automatically.
The spy cameras of this range record videos on a removable Micro SD card. Micro SD card is not included. To use these cameras you must purchase a micro SD card, in Class 10 or higher, of the maximum capacity supported by the camera. Do not buy slower SD cards, class 4 or 6, as they will not work properly.

To playback the footage recorded by the camera is very easy. Just connect with your mobile phone to browse and download the video clips. You can do that from remote, with no need to remove the memory card. You can playback MP4 movies directly on your smartphone or transfer them to your computer and play them with common free players, such as VLC. These cameras also allow you to transfer the video files to a computer directly from the SD card.
These long stand-by cameras can work on battery for a very long time thanks to a little trick. Instead of being always in operation, like normal spy cameras, these cameras work mainly in stand-by , taking very little power and wake up only when you connect from remote, or when an intruder is detected. To detect intrusions, these cameras have a motion detector sensor (PIR), like those used in burglar alarms, which detects the body temperature of the intruder. The PIR detector is invisible and has a range of 10 meters, perfect to cover an average room.
These spy cameras are supplied as standard with two rechargeable lithium batteries that allow about 1 year stand-by. Obviously, if intrusions occur the battery life is reduced proportionally. The camera comes with bay for two additional 18650 batteries, to get up to 2 years in stand-by. The batteries are recharged by connecting a USB charger (not included) with the cable included. The camera can notify on your mobile when the batteries are running low.
Most of the time these cameras run on the internal battery, but can also be mains powered, by means of an external USB power adapter (not included). In this way the camera can remain in operation 24 hours a day , like a real CCTV video surveillance system. These clock cameras are an excellent solution to provide your venue with a 24/7 hidden surveillance, quick and easy to set up.
These hidden cameras are equipped with a Wi-Fi transmitter for Smartphone control and must be connect to your home Wi-Fi network. You can monitor your spy camera over the Internet with our free P2P cloud server. With our free APP for Android and iOS, you have full control of the cameras at any time with mobile phones or tablets. You can WATCH AND HEAR in real time. You can RECORD and take pictures. You can even PLAY AND DOWNLOAD the footage in the camera's memory. You can also RECEIVE real time push notifications on your mobile phone all the time that an intrusion occurr or in case of low batteries.
To make an effective covert shot, you need to choose a favorable position for your camera. By their nature, these cameras in fire detector should be hanged to the ceiling with the double sided adhesive included. If you place the camera near the wall you can then adjust the lens angle to focus the whole room. While choosing your camera position do not forget to check the wifi coverage first with your mobile phone.
These long stand-by cameras work only if connected to your home WiFi network. The wifi connection is easy to do with our app and lets you control your camera through the Internet, wherever you are. Thanks to our free P2P cloud server , you do not need to configure anything in your router, you just need to know the ID of your device that you will find in the package.
