Human face detection

The first thing that distinguishes these cameras from normal cameras is that they are able to detect the presence of a human face in the frame. They can do that thanks to a highly advanced algorithm that detects the shape of human faces and acquires the facial features in real time. For optimal detection the target should be in front of the camera at 5 or 13 meters, depending on the model. The detection algorithm works day and night, even with many people in front of the lens and even if the target is wearing hat, beard, glasses or partial masking. When the camera detects a face, it can perform alarm actions.

Facial recognition up to 30000 photos

These cameras can compare people faces with an internal photo database. They can send a report to the NVR if the face is present in the database, or if it is not present. You can upload any kind of picture, like your family members or the employees of a company. You can also upload a photo of a missing or wanted person. Each camera can hold 2000 or 30000 photos, depending on the version. You can adjust the recognition area and the alarm thresholds as desired.

What is Human detection?

In these cameras with Artificial Intelligence, the ordinary motion detection evolves into the new dimension of HUMAN DETECTION. Human detection is very different from normal motion detection because it does not simply trigger on the pixel change, but only when a human body is detected . All the types of intelligent detection features of these cameras, which you find explained later in this chapter, do not detect an animal, or an object moved by the wind, but only a real person. The human detection technologies of these cameras are a great innovation, compared to the classic motion detection, because they are much more reliable. The detection algorithm analyzes the body moves, so it is able to detect even intruders that are wearing a mask.

LINE CROSSING human detection

These cameras detect if a certain virtual line is crossed by a person. They can also distinguish in which direction the person is heading. This detection of line crossing is very useful in public places, or in companies, to warn in case of unauthorized access in sensitive or dangerous areas . You can draw up to 4 crossing lines in the frame and also choose a precise crossing direction.

INTRUSION IN AREA human detection

These cameras detect if a person breaks into a defined perimeter. This detection is very similar to normal motion detection, but, unlike this, it is triggered only human bodies. Intrusion detection is useful to monitor outdoor areas or access routes and report unauthorized intrusions. You can draw up to 4 sensitive areas in the frame and also set a delay of up to 10 seconds.
