RH IP cameras have been developed

CCTV on IP network
IP cameras connect to an IP network that can be made on purpose or already existent. They include an Ethernet port that can be plugged straight to the switch.
NVR, connected to the same network, are used for video recording.

Up to 5 Megapixel resolution
RH range IP cameras provide 1 to 5MP video resolution, according to version.
Compared with traditional analog systems, this means over 10 times more resolution.
1/2MP resolution are today most popular high definition TV standards, ideal for short distance surveillance. 4/5 MP resolution gives more details when zooming in, this is recommended for large areas or whenever the maximum perception of tiny details is required.
Being this IP camera range designed for high performance IP CCTV systems, 4 MP should be the average resolution of the whole system.

Absolute firmware and hardware reliability is the key point that makes the difference between high-end and entry-level IP cameras, widely available on the web at much cheaper price.
DSE take special care to avoid such a problem offering to installers CCTV solutions which are fully usable in any CCTV system.
All RH range IP cameras can be recorded by our NVR at their maximum video resolution of 1,2,3,4 or 5 MP. You can mix cameras with different resolution in the same system and use RH range IP cameras together with our "naked" IP cameras if this is good for your application.
H264/H265 video compression
RH range IP cameras come with the latest video compression codec H264 and H265 in order to provide high quality video streaming with minimum bandwidth required.
RH cameras produce 2 different video streaming, each with different compression and video resolution, to be chosen according to the client device.
The frame rate is also selectable up to real-time 25 frame/second.
All DSE IP cameras communicate using the ONVIF protocol.
ONVIF is a very important international standard in the IP video industry, resulting from the cooperation among the most important manufacturers. Using this protocol, DSE cameras can be connected to any IP surveillance software or NVR which comply to the ONVIF standard.
DSE is one of the very few Italian companies being member of ONVIF (see ONVIF MEMBER LIST). Only ONVIF members have the tools to test the full product compliance to the most updated ONVIF standards. Please bear this in mind when you are choosing your IP surveillance provider.
Several cameras in this range include advanced video analysis features useful to identify abnormal situations which may occur within the field of view of the cameras.
This feature, so called Intelligent Video Analysis, is only provided by high-end IP cameras and is not included in our "Naked" IP camera range.
With the Intelligent Video Analysis you can, for example, react in case a person is overriding a virtual border, staying in an area for too long, or moving too fast. You can also create an alarm if an object is removed from its place or left in some critical areas.
Intelligent Video Analysis is crucial in monitoring high risk areas, but results to be very useful also in ordinary CCTV systems, to warn against dangerous situations.
IVS also helps during playback to find out easily all videos containing unusual events.

Each of these video analysis features has its own
configuration and can be armed/disarmed on a time basis
according to the day of the week.
In case of video analysis alarm the camera write the event in the log and start recording. It can also trigger the alarm output, if available, or send notification by email/FTP. Real time warning can be sent to PC (software included) or to external monitoring station supporting the ONVIF-Videoanalytics-Service-Spec-V220.
Upon request, DSE offer free of charge to software developers all information to use Video Analysis in third party software.
PoE - Power over Ethernet
All DSE IP cameras, except the speed dome and minicameras, support PoE standards (IEEE 802.3af Class 3).
If your LAN switch support PoE technology, the cameras can be powered through the LAN cable without the need of extra power adaptors. If the network has not POE switches, external PoE injectors can be used along the LAN cable to power up the camera.
Obviously all these cameras can be also powered by a 12VDC adaptor like RE-AL.. (not included).
Because of the higher power consumption, the speed dome camera RH-SD30-3 does not support PoE and must be powered at 24VAC by means of the 220V/24VAC power adaptor included. Also RH2-TCC3 minicameras, in this case for the tiny size, cannot support POE and require 12VDC power adaptor (not included)
One great advantage of IP cameras is the ability to send audio signal without requiring extra wires. Audio is packed together with the video streaming. All cameras in the range (except RH2-BCC2) come with an audio input for microphone and one speaker output. The model RH-TCC1 also includes a built-in microphone.
In DSE IP cameras the audio control is fully bi directional, so from client PC the user can listen-in the room as well as talk to the people in front of the camera.

infrared illuminators with ICR
All these camera are color cameras highly efficient even in low light conditions.
Besides, cameras include the day & night function, so at night they accept infrared illumination. Day & night feature is obtained with a fully programmable Infrared Cut Filter Removable function (ICR).
Compared to cheaper solution, ICR ensures better low light performance as well as perfect color rendering with day light.
All RH cameras with built-in illuminator come with SUPER FLUX LED's (also called PIRANHA LED's) providing higher illumination distance and low working temperature.
The table at the end of this page shows the illumination range of each model.
IP66 water-proof casings
For the RH range we have developed a brand new series of stylish aluminum casings. All versions are rated IP66 and can be installed outdoor without any extra protection.
Unlike other models, the box camera RH-TCC1 is not waterproof and can be installed outdoor only if protected with an outdoor enclosure. (see casings and brackets).
All RH range cameras provide cable management. All wirings are contained inside the camera, well protected from wearing out and against tampering attempts.
All casings of the RH range cameras have been designed to be stylish, durable and very convenient to install. A significant part of the price difference between RH range and our less expensive Naked IP cameras is certainly due to the higher cost of the casing.
RH-BOX1/2 - waterproof
For making the installation of RH cameras as easy as possible DSE have developed a very convenient accessory that can help to protect the camera terminals.
RH-BOX1 (square shape) and RH-BOX2 (round shape) are IP66 water-proof junction boxes which can be fixed to the wall where cables come out. They are big enough to contain all the terminals of the camera, protecting them from humidity, corrosion, and attempts of tampering.
On the front cover there are the fixing holes suitable for the cameras.
RH-BOX1 and RH-BOX2 accepts back and side cable entry.
RH-DCC1x dome cameras in this range come in a robust water/vandal-proof casing which make them ideal in all applications where the camera can be object of tampering attempts.
Although the camera can be mounted straight to the ceiling, several optional accessories are available for easy mounting in any condition.
RH-ST1 is the wall mounting bracket. It can be used together with the RH-ST4 collar for pole mounting.
RH-ST1BOX waterproof junction box is also available to protect terminals.
To view your cameras over the network or the Internet you do not need anything else than a computer and a web browser.
Unlike other IP cameras on the market, RH cameras do not require activeX components to be installed, because the WEB GUI is developed on FLASH/VLC universal technology. All browsers like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc. are fully supported.
Flash/VLC based GUI is a key benefit for Apple users that cannot access most of competitor IP cameras with their MAC.
Through the web interface user get access to the live view and can set all configuration options. It is even possible to search and playback the videos stored in the camera memory.

DSE IP cameras can be monitored by any mobile phone with iOS (iPhone, iPad) and ANDROID (Samsung, HTC, Sony, Acer, Motorola etc.) operating system.
DSE has developed DSE SMARTLIVE, the APP for the RH camera range that is free to download from APPLE STORE and GOOGLE PLAY.
You can store the IP address of all your cameras and just click to start the live view.
It is also possible to use bidirectional audio as well as setting all camera options.
The app for iPad includes a multiple view feature for watching up to 4 or 9 cameras simultaneously.
With DSE SMARTLIVE you can also control movements and zoom of PTZ speed dome cameras.
DSE IP cameras support RTSP protocol and can be watched using any RTSP player, like REAL PLAYER, QUICKTIME, VST etc.
A convenient software tool, included in the CD, displays in a second the exact address to enter in the address box of the player.
RTSP protocol is convenient to use to receive video with third party software not supporting onvif protocol. This is quite frequent in several applications other than security video surveillance.
Video files can be recorded on the base of a built-in programmable scheduler. It is also possible to start recording in case an alarm is detected by external input or motion detection.
Recording video within the camera is very useful if you do not want to use a PC or a NVR for videorecording or if you want to keep a security backup of your videos.
Cameras can manage recycle recording by overwriting older files and can also accept a storage limit to suit local regulation about privacy.
To playback recorded videos you do not need to remove the card.
By browser, or via our recording software included (NVMS) videos can be searched and played over the network.
Thanks to the built-in memory, it is also possible to use these cameras without any connection to the network just like stand-alone video-recording units.

Motion detection and email/FTP
IP cameras include motion detection analysis and can start an alarm in case an intruder brake-in.
In case of alarm, the cameras can switch a local alarm output (if available) and send pictures via e-mail/FTP to several addresses.
A built-in weekly scheduler is available in order to enable/disable the alarm detection according to the needs.
Sensitive areas can be masked in order to prevent privacy violation for example in work places or public areas.
In PTZ cameras, the privacy mask is moved automatically with the camera in order to keep its position over the sensitive areas.
To suits local privacy law, the storage capacity of PC, NAS and SD cards can be set by number of days.
RH-BCC1 (bullet), RH-DCCx (dome), RH-TCC1 (box) and RH2-TCC3 (mini) come with alarm input and output.
Alarm inputs can be used to connect alarm contact or sensors to start recording or trigger alarm actions. Alarm outputs can activate other equipment like lights, buzzers etc. in case of alarm.
The speed dome model RH-SD30-3 comes with 7 alarm inputs in order to give the possibility of controlling the camera PTZ with external switches.

All cameras (except RH-TCC1) are supplied with an appropriate lens which is coherent with the IR illumination range and suitable for most common applications.
Small cameras, with up to 15 m. IR range, come with a 3.6 mm. wide-angle lens, which is very good for short distance view. These fixed lens cameras do not require focus adjustment.

All cameras from 20 to 40 m. IR range come with varifocal lens, adjustable from 2.8 to 12 mm.
Adjusting the focal length of the lens, the user is able to modify the angle of view of the camera to suit perfectly the size of the monitoring area.
Wide angle adjustment, like 2.8..4 mm, are ideal for indoor, small areas or panoramic view, while longer focal length, up to 12 mm., best suit long distance surveillance.
In these cameras the angle of view and focus of the lens can be manually set by turning 2 screws conveniently placed outside the camera casing.
Please take all necessary time to adjust the lens of your cameras, since this is very important for the final video quality of your CCTV system.
The inside mechanism for lens adjustment of DSE cameras is made of metal gears, much more durable and reliable than cheaper plastic rings normally used by the majority of the other manufacturers.
Autofocus zoom lens
A few cameras in this range come with motorized 2.8..12 mm lens (4X) motorized zoom.
Please do not misunderstand the word: "zoom": the goal of this kind of lens is not long distance monitoring, being focal range very similar to other cameras with manual lens.
The advantage of zoom lenses is that they are very comfortable to adjust. You can set the best angle of view just sitting in front of the monitor instead of turning the screws in the camera.
Besides, these lenses do not require focus adjustment. They come with AUTOFOCUS, so are able to adjust automatically according to target position.
Zoom cameras can be controlled via network from browser, DVR/NVR and mobile.
For those application which require special lenses, over 12 mm focal length, this range includes the box cameras which is supplied without lens. You can order separately the most suitable megapixel lens (see lenses). RH-TCC1 is compatible with all C/CS DSE lenses.
30x zoom, 3MP Speed
Dome camera (RH-SD30-3)
For those applications which require maximum zoom and IR power as well as Pan Tilt rotation, this range includes a 3MP speed dome.
RH-SD30-3 is one of the few 3MP speed dome IP camera on the market today. Pan Tilt and Zoom of the camera can be controlled by the user's client with no extra wiring required.
Thanks to its unique 3D POSITIONING system the user can control the speed dome by drawing a rectangle on the image using the mouse. The camera will automatically move to focus the target selected.
3D POSITIONING is available by all kind of clients: browser, software NetVMS and DSE Smartlive for mobile devices.
RH-SD30-3 can operate automatic actions on the base of client's commands, alarm events or time scheduler.

Camera moves up to 180°/sec on pan and 90°/sec on tilt, with auto-flip function.
The user can set a Home main function that is recalled automatically after a predefined time of inactivity.
RH-SD30-3 comes with wall mounting bracket. Ceiling bracket (RH-ST3D), pole collar (RH-ST4D) and corner adaptor (RH-ST5D) are available separately.
Mini IP camera
For those application which require minimum size, this range includes the mini camera with 3.7 mm pin-hole lens also suitable for covert surveillance.
In all RH series IP cameras, a convenient BNC analogue video output is available for connecting a local monitor.
This is very useful when installing the camera. It helps to find the best angle of view and adjust the camera lens easily. Obviously this analogue video output cannot support the full resolution of the camera, therefore it must be used for auxiliary purposes only.
The remote access to the cameras is protected by a password control. Each camera allows to store several different users with customized access level to different functions.
You wish to watch your cameras over the Internet, but you have no fixed IP address? No problem. DSE IP cameras support the most common DDNS services like DYNDNS.ORG
Free configuration tool
The IP SEARCH software provided free of charge with every camera, is useful to search all DSE FULL HD cameras within the network in a matter of seconds. With a few click of your mouse you can set the network options of the camera and make it visible to other computers.
SDK and API for system integrators
For all the engineers that want to use RH range cameras with their own software, DSE provides the SDK (software development kit) for Windows and Linux free of charge. Free API libraries and CGI commands are also available to develop customized WEB programs.
